Statement re: Employees with Spent Convictions (UK)

Papa Johns (GB) Ltd. requires its franchisees to ensure the integrity of operations and the safety of employees and customers alike, including through their hiring choices.  Papa Johns (GB) Ltd. also requires its franchisees to comply with all applicable laws.  Under UK law an employer cannot discriminate on the grounds of a prior conviction when the rehabilitation period relating to that conviction has been completed and the conviction is therefore deemed spent.
