Now, this pizza fact might shock you. Pizza did NOT originate from Italy! I repeat; it did not originate from Italy. Greeks and Egyptians came up with the tasty dish, by cooking flatbread, topping it with olive oil and spices. Italy swapped the olive oil for tomato & came up with the modern pizza.
